IKEA came out with their latest catalog a few weeks back, and it was so much fun looking through it. (They even have an app you can download to browse their catalog on your Android or iPhone!)
One of their basics, that has been offered for awhile, is their Lazy Susan, made out of birch wood. It’s a great find for under $10. You can leave it as is, or paint it to match your decor.
I gave this lazy susan a farmhouse-style makeover with paint.
This was a project I did for DecoArt — I’m one of their bloggers — and you can see my complete tutorial on DecoArt’s website by clicking here: Turquoise Striped Lazy Susan
I used my favorite Americana Multi-Surface Acrylics for this project. (Click on the link to learn more about these paints.) Americana Multi-Surface Acrylics provide a hard, durable surface that — once cured — stands up to kitchen use and entertaining whether indoors or out.
The full tutorial and supplies list can be found here: Turquoise Striped Lazy Susan
This makes a fantastic gift for the cook or hostess on your gift list!
Happy crafting!
